BARRE-CHORDS TYPES

 

There are primarily 2 different types of barre chords...

1. E-form

2. A-form

 

They get their names because they are derived very simply from the regular open E chord and the regular open A chord.

minor 7th	minor 7th
sus4	major 7th
7th sus4	major 9th

 

The nice thing about all the patterns is that you can move them up and down the neck very easily.

In the next chapter you will learn the different easily-movable patterns.
